Coach Al
Hello, I'm Al. My lifelong passion for sports, especially baseball and basketball, has shaped my journey to establish Field of Excellence,. I offer a baseball training program designed to nurture young athletes in the fundamentals of hitting, pitching, defense moves and mental fortitude.
My love for baseball began when I was 10 years old. From that moment, I was hooked, and my journey continued until I was 21. Throughout those years, I had the incredible opportunity to travel and learn the intricacies of the game from a variety of coaches and mentors. These experiences, combined with my summer employment with the City of Ottawa's Recreational Department honed my skills on and off the field and deepened my understanding of baseball's mechanics and the crucial mindset required for success.
As a father of two young athletes, I understand the commitment it requires to encourage and lift young athletes of all ages and abilities. I currently enjoy coaching the 11u Mississauga Baseball team and am a very active basketball parent.
